This is treating Twitter as a pornographic website, which the new French law puts more requirements on. If it was just a “I am over 18” button, I don’t think pornhub would pull out(pun unintended). It’s easy to bypass with a VPN or tor, but are you going to pull that out just to doom scroll for a hate fix? Maybe, but that’s a choice a lot of people are going to have to make.
The only important thing is to make rich people money. If it makes them money, nothing else matters. Unless it makes them money now as opposed to later. Making them money now is the most important thing.
