Not from the USA, very simple for me. I would go outside and talk to people what they think. If they are pro Trump, see why that is. Then show them how he is absolutely not doing anything for them, based on quotes of him directly, if possible.

So you can see where this is going? What are you going to do about it? What are even realistic options? Perhaps a strongly worded post on X?
They might still be the baddies, but they control the history, just look at the USSR… well and Russia to this day

Just with axes. The comparison is laughable.
No, massive air moving structures can not be cheap. Neither building nor operating them.
Eheran@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•Penn Engineers Discover a New Class of Materials That Passively Harvest Water from AirEnglish12·20 days agoNobody will remove water from ambient air in relevant amounts. Roughly 0.5 % of air is water vapor, a total of something like 10’000 km³ liquid water. This is replaced (residence time) about once every 10 days, so roughly 1’000 km³ daily.
Say we extract 10 km³ (10’000’000 m³) daily, enough for roughly 10 million people (including all industry, zero recycling of the water etc.). By that time you deal with 1 % of earths atmosphere every day. May I remind everyone how absurdly costly in any conceivable way that would be? You would rather lay a few pipes and purify sea water at a tiny(!) fraction of the cost.

They lose their coercivity far sooner. The higher the magnetization, the more sensitive it is. So N52 is more temperature sensitive than N45 (but both start to suffer around 80 °C). You also get alloys that are more tolerant and get specifications like 44H that can be used up to 120 °C or 35SH up to 150 °C.

It kicked ass 20 years ago. Now? Not so much.
The thing is, even some people like flat earthers etc. can be brought to reason when you actually listen to them and tell them how they are wrong. There are a few interviews with such people, which is why I think it is always worth talking to people.
