Agreed on Silent Hill. Amazing movie. Weird that people thought it was confusing? I saw that movie as a young kid, having never played the games, and it made perfect sense… idk how anyone can watch that and not understand what’s going on. The movie had a very simple plot lol.

Because with a deletion you’re actually pushing through a deletion request for federation. Whereas if your instance shut down it wouldn’t. The last federated copy of your comment/post/picture would be archived on the other instances you were federated with. I think?

If it was me I’d personally call the police every single night that the neighbor does this. 2 things will happen. 1. The cops finally take more drastic action and the issue is solved. Or 2. The cops tell you they can’t keep responding to this and tell you to stop calling them. Either way, i would call them every day and see what happens. I think that’s really all OP can do realistically do, other than moving…
If she’s actively suicidal then she is no place to start a new relationship and I do not think you should be persuing it. Suicidal depression is nothing to fuck with. I hope you understand the magnitude of that. Also you said she has trouble saying no. You really don’t want to end up dating her just because she’s scared to say no. That’s completely fucked up at so many levels.
This girl has to take care of herself and work through her issues. You can support her as a friend, but if it causes you distress then you need to back off and let her utilize her other support systems. If she is telling you she doesn’t know what she wants, then I would listen to her and respect that. You make the choice - can you be her friend only and support her while not feeling bad yourself? If yes, support her. If not, move on. My personal opinion is you should move on and maybe approach her in the future once she’s healthy, if the timing is right. Or just move on and you’ll find someone else.

I think you’re talking about a completely different situation. All I’m saying is that you shouldn’t talk politics at work. You’re talking about someone creating a disturbance and making people uncomfortable. Obviously the company would want to take care of that. That’s a completely different situation.
