If they don’t ascribe to the ideology, then they don’t ascribe to the ideology, and that’s fine, but that doesn’t change the nature of the ideology itself. People don’t choose hateful and violent ideologies because they disagree with the ideology’s tenets. If they do disagree, they obviously don’t rush out and adopt the ideology they disagree with. You can’t have it both ways.

If they don’t agree with the ideology’s hateful and violent tenets, they don’t have to adopt the ideology, but it’s disingenuous to suggest that people who do voluntarily choose adopt those ideologies don’t actually believe in them. Nobody chooses to adopt an ideology they disagree with.

You’re not wrong that this post is fake, but it’s important to remember that there’s nothing phobic about criticizing someone’s voluntarily-chosen ideology, especially when that ideology promotes violence, hatred, misogyny, homophobia, racism, sexism, etc. That’s not phobia or bigotry or hatred, it’s just normal criticism
