Holy shit though, the video of the ballistic missiles coming in was wild. I’ve seen cruise missiles, artillery, tanks, mortars, rockets, incoming small arms… A good amount of that being personal experience. But I’ve never seen incoming ballistic missiles before and holy shit, coming from a vet, that unnerved me.

They’re terrorists fighting a terrorist state. The problem here is the Palestinian people being caught in the middle and being used as human shields by both sides. And one side has a certain extra burn to it because they should know better than to just openly commit genocide. Even the Nazis hid it better. All Israel is doing is just murdering journalists. I’d take any one of them if they pursued me. Not sure I have the confidence to pursue any of them atm. But I would befriend them quickly out of respect for that one picture alone. That’s some serious badassery right there. It might not seem like much to younger viewers, but at the time? This was dangerous protest.

Either way, it doesn’t really matter. The voice of the photo is what matters, not the reality. In today’s times, you have to take them as they are, not as they come off. AI and the Internet as a whole has given a voice to people who shouldn’t be given a voice. We have to evolve to keep up.
