I’m not a programmer. Let me state it better though. I want the algorithms or lack thereof of the early 00s. I want to be able to search for something and get more than scrape sites and top 14, 17, or 22 lists. I want to be able to search for a businesses and contractors and get more than national chains with 800 numbers. If I type in electricians in city, state, I want it to actually do that instead of making me find a map app.
I want todays content in 2002 search engines.

The dislike of Hillary was deeply entrenched. When Bill Clinton was elected and Hillary was First Lady they worked on a preliminary plan for universal healthcare that was dumped. Hillary was involved in the drafting of the plan.
This was a time when the 24h news cycle, via CNN, was only on the cusp of getting started. The nightly news, still in full swing, said awful things about her. They said she should stay in her lane and, worse, that she should be picking out china and curtains instead. They sneered at her on air with great contempt. Not Fox. ABC, NBC, CBS, and CNN. All 4 were outraged by her stepping out of line as First Lady.
I cannot imagine this pervasive attitude wasn’t present in the Boomer+ vote.
In addition, Malcom Gladwell addressed some pervasive societal issues in Season 1 of his podcast in an episode called The Lady Vanishes. He predicted her loss.
And if you watched the hearing, she used the same email format as Colin Powell.
It’s the hypocrisy that bothers me. Roast anyone who is out of line, either party, but instead they take a stance of overinflating things like jeans and the tan suit and then ignore serious indiscretions and illegal activity on the right.

For the love of god, I’m not denying the occurrence. I’m pointing out the number of posts on it and that is all. People are still dying daily, and I read that news daily. But the daily posts on it are a mere sliver of what they were in October of 2024. That is the salient point.

Bernie winning 2016 would’ve been the right timeline. This one sucks. Do I turn out and vote like an adult anyway, to avoid abject errors like Trump? Yes. But I’m not a democrat.
AI is ruining us already. The gross dependency on it for the most basic of tasks, like writing a sentence, is a malignancy that’s destroying both critical thinking and art. So yea, you’re probably right that I’m a bit over focused on that problem. But maybe not. Either way, there’s no need to draw nasty assumptions that reach far beyond the AI problem simply because you don’t like my focus on the AI problem.
What you’re saying isn’t in doubt, but it doesn’t fit the pattern of what I’m describing. Ofc there are people who oppose the Israel/Palestine war. I never said no one opposed it. I also never said I was for it.
The point of the description is there was a deluge. Daily multiples across forums, subs, endless. The deluge abruptly stopped on Nov 5. The genocide didn’t stop on Nov 5, but the endless fury of posts across social media did.
I understand that no one likes to face or feel manipulation, but there it is.

The sweet spot for 12s is in having 4 days off per week. There isn’t time for anything in life on work days except work, sleep, commute. Thirdly, the first day off is a wash. Recovery. Like a nap that simply goes on all day. 12s are great but only with block scheduling and days off.
This schedule proposal sounds like something out of pre-OSHA, possibly intended to kill people. Live to work, not the other way around.
