Jokes aside, nobody is holding you responsible for her or her team’s actions. But you absolutely can be held accountable for enabling trump to win, and therefore what he’s doing now. You as an individual do not hold much blame, it’s spread out over millions who voted trump, or chose not to vote.

If Harris won, and started doing all this same crap, I’d own my part of making that happen.

We live in a shitty two party system, and the Overton window has shifted so far that the left isn’t even very left any more. But we’re all on the same damn bus, and when given a chance to vote in the driver, a bunch of people just sat there while the vote went to the unapologetic felon who was only there so he didn’t get sent to prison. So off the cliff we go, damaging the lives of countless people.

No, it’s not. We can argue whether or not she was really bad, or just not good enough, but the point is, when you have a choice between not perfect (or “bad” for the sake of argument) and objectively awful, and you choose nothing, then you’re equally responsible for the current state of things.

Israel is still doing awful things to the Palestinians, and he did absolutely nothing to help the situation between Ukraine and Russia. He’s ramming into every guardrail in our government and breaking through many of them. There will absolutely and 100% be more death and suffering with him as president than if we had gotten Harris. This was obvious well before the election, however the scope and speed are surprising, pretending that abstinence is somehow the morally superior stance is mind boggling.

I wish I could argue with you about this. But I can’t. I voted for Harris, so many here refused because she wasn’t good enough. It’s like they want to go straight from where we are to perfect in a single election. The reason the process is slow is to avoid the very situation we’re in now. Incremental progress. Unfortunately the last 60 years or so have been used to erode the whole process, so we’re left with law makers and judges more interested in being rich and influential than doing their jobs.

I’m seriously looking forward to the results from the Rockland county NY election lawsuit. I’m seriously bummed the Harris campaign did fundraising for a recount but never called for one.
