How long did you wait when this came up? I believe it might be just blocking the video playback until the expected (by youtube) length of the (blocked) ad has finished, after which the video starts playing as usual.
They control all the endpoints/clients so even if they didnt, they could change it at any moment as the code isnt open…
Doesnt make it a bad idea tho :D
What makes you so confident? Also whats the actual model name of the thing?
Yeah and it wouldnt fit / work probably
Its specifically sensitive to salt, so you can use it for anything with little or no salt without issue. Also it would be perfect for basically all packaging applications that dont involve food but do require an airtight seal. So you could probably replace the majority of all single use plastic packaging/containers with it.
That is basically what they do yes. ISPs are the only thing standing in between the entirety of humanity and out of the box selfhosting. With fixed IPv6 IP addresses you could build and sell devices that just self host all your stuff out of the box. You could just sell complete normie people a “cloud box” that they can slap in their home for a one time cost that will take care of all their cloud storage and smart device needs. You could integrate it into any smartphone OS ootb so that all you have to do is scan a QR code on the “cloud box” and it connects all your apps that need it to it.
please report it to the appropriate channels
Telling them that you personally will be there for them is really the only guarantee you can make without blindly relying on third parties to act with compassion. So telling them to come to you so that you can then together go through the rest of the process is imo the better idea. They can always choose to just ignore you, but making them go to some shitty HR office by themselves also sucks.
Tokyo > Kyoto is like 475km and takes 2h so its just a matter of will and investment. It even runs every 30 minutes during the day.
Yup yup. If someone can do this as a solo dev, then you bet your ass the big corpos are already doing it on every bit of user data they can get their hands on.
I just looked for “human speech frequency spectrum” images so i had to tineye it to find it again but this seems to be the source
https://erikbern.com/2017/02/01/language-pitch.html
I cant vouch for its quality, but it seems pretty in depth from a quick scroll.
Im glad the EU started early with sanctioning Telegram, it will make things easier now. This is just a blatant attempt at enforcing Russian political influence.
Idk about the additive effects, but:
Fan noise especially is very “white” in the sense that it contains a lot of frequencies from low to high. That makes it ideal for overpowering (and subjectively swallowing) other noises (like other fans, speech, etc).
Fan noise
Speech for comparison happens in a frequency band where fans are very strong
Running water is similar. When you try to listen to a conversation or a video with speech while washing your hands, you will have a hard time understanding anything. With other noises that are in different frequency bands or only use very small range of frequencies it wont have that effect even if the noise is much louder than the running water was.
Noise cancelling in the sense that one noise actually makes another noise disappear, doesnt really happen under non lab conditions. Its more of a drowning out effect where your ear/brain cant differentiate the two noises anymore.
Selective hearing can do a lot of work by processing the signals from your ear in your brain, but that isnt all powerful.
Every time i saw a screenshot of these i was really confused why they were still around despite Musk being Musk.
Its somewhat unavoidable with some things, i have to admit.
Is it this app? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.co.canon.ic.cameraconnect
Im sure this can be reverse engineered relatively easily if it connects over WiFi, because you can just sniff all the traffic quite easily.
I hope you havent installed any firmware updates recently, because they will surely try to prevent people from doing so and actively work to break existing 3rd party apps or older official app versions.
Edit: Nvm i saw you managed to downgrade the app.
I meant Toronto to NYC is 700km
Germany and France share a border so yeah its 0 seconds if you are standing on the border and for one of the longest distances from Berlin to Strasbourg for example its 6h by train.
Thats like 700km so in a proper high speed train it would be 3h or less from station to station. Thats probably faster than flying if you include all the boarding and travel to the airport.
Well then the title is just misleading i guess. If you need an app for extra features, they will harvest your data anyways even without an account. Unless the app was working without internet access before. The mistake is buying a camera that requires an app that isnt using an open protocol and expecting Canon not to make use of their software lock in thumb screws. In a year they will want a monhtly subscription fee for you to use the app.
Wikimedia has too much money, maybe this has started to create rotten tumors inside it.
