Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power
-Benito Mussolini, some dude who probably knew something about fascism

I think basically everyone except North Korea is. Anyone who allows goods and people to move through their borders with any level of freedom can theoretically get attacked like Russia did.
I think it’s a tossup between “loudly correct” and “vilify as a disappointing libshit.”
My honest reaction to that scenario

It was my impression that what’s been holding Tesla in a euphoric state the last few months has been the implication that the company is government-insured like a bank in 2008. If Tesla loses that, or people believe that Tesla has lost that, then what do they have left? Lost tax credits, a disastrous product release in the Cybertruck, a hamstrung domestic demand and cratered international demand, issues with raw material supply, behind the scenes signs of cashflow issues, all in a company that has been insanely overvalued by investors for the past 5-10 years.
I believe in charades, but I also believe that charades can be miscalculated and collapse due to poor management.

I’d imagine it’s a fool’s errand to try and find threads of logic and consistency in the profoundly schizophrenic.
I don’t think sinking this aid vessel would do anything to change the public conversation. The people who are aware already either condemn Israel or support the genocide. The unaware will not care about a handful more dead innocents.
The bottom line is that Israel is openly and proudly committing atrocities and the international community is not willing to stop it. Only a military intervention could dissuade the IDF.
Anyone who builds tools explicitly for mass surveillance of the public is a collaborator, no matter who writes their paycheck.
And don’t let the narrative be “MegaCorp built these tools.” No, human beings with names and ostensibly consciences built these tools for MegaCorp. They are just as guilty if not more so.
Developers like this should be considered collaborators with fascist elements.
Original comment reads like he knows exactly what he suggested and it’s a piss take.
I’m not an anarchist looking for the abolition of police as a concept.
But the institution of policing in America needs a Truth and Reconciliation commission. Complete top to bottom scrapping and rework. And a lot of pigs need to go to prison for a long time.
Typically that is a customer-provider relationship, and ideally (but probably not in reality) that relationship is tightly regulated. At best this move is a breach of ethics.
